Frequently asked questions
- How do I send a delivery?
- Message eKasi Speed on WhatsApp at +27 64 264 9487 with your pickup address, drop-off address, and what you're sending. You'll get a quote in the chat, and once you confirm we dispatch the nearest available rider.
- What areas do you cover?
- We currently operate across Pretoria, Centurion, Pretoria North, Akasia, and Mamelodi in Gauteng. Johannesburg, Sandton, Midrand, Soweto, Tshwane, Ekurhuleni, and Vaal are coming soon. Deliveries just outside our live areas can often still be arranged — ask us on WhatsApp and we'll quote it.
- How do I pay?
- Payment runs through GigPay, our secure checkout: card, EFT, or wallet. Riders can also accept card on delivery using Tap to Pay on their phone. No cash handling is required. Payment is confirmed before your rider is dispatched, so your delivery is protected from the moment you pay.
- Can I track my delivery live on a map?
- Not yet — but you'll get WhatsApp updates at every stage, from pickup confirmation to a photo when your delivery arrives. Live map tracking is coming soon.
- Is my parcel tracked and insured?
- Every delivery is tracked end to end — you get WhatsApp delivery updates at each stage. Standard deliveries carry limited cover for loss or damage; for high-value items tell us upfront so we can arrange the right handling.
- How does the marketplace work?
- eKasiCart lets you order groceries, essentials, and specialty items from local vendors on WhatsApp or the web. Orders are picked and delivered by the same eKasi Speed rider network, usually within 15–30 minutes.
- Who operates eKasi Speed?
- eKasi Speed and eKasiCart are trading names of Finance 7 Seven (Pty) Ltd, trading as Appiawave — a regulated South African fintech infrastructure company based at 3 Viceroy Link, Route 21 Business Park, Centurion, Gauteng.
